Julian Albornoz - CEO & Co-Founder

Julian Albornoz is an experienced investor with a strong track record of stock selection as both an equity research analyst and diversified portfolio manager. Before co-founding Twin Keel Capital, he spent more than a decade analyzing and investing in publicly traded securities with a focus on large capitalization stocks, most recently as the portfolio manager for the Focused Large Cap Growth fund and the Global Growth fund at Fidelity Institutional Asset Management.

Earlier in his career, he gained extensive investing experience as a sector analyst, covering telecom and technology stocks at Fidelity Institutional Asset Management, where he advised funds that at their peak, managed more than $35B across multiple investment disciplines, including long-only and market-neutral strategies, and later as a generalist, adding consumer and financial equities to his investment experience. While at Fidelity, he was actively involved in the development of diverse talent as an interviewer and senior mentor of undergraduate minority students.

Julian holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Colegio de Estudios Superiores de Administracion, a top business school in Colombia, where he also was a professor of Financial Analysis and Corporate Finance before moving to the U.S. to pursue his master’s studies and his career in investment management.

Ryan Salomone - CIO & Co-Founder

Prior to co-founding Twin Keel Capital, Ryan Salomone served as a member of the Fidelity Institutional Asset Management investment team for over 15 years with a focus on publicly traded securities. He advised funds across multiple investment disciplines, including long-only and market-neutral. He has cultivated deep domain expertise in the capital markets, having vetted thousands of investment opportunities across the full cap range. At its peak, the portfolio strategies he advised managed more than $35B in AUM.

Ryan graduated from University of Michigan, Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration, where he concentrated in Finance, Accounting, and Business Information Technology. He is currently an active member of the Michigan Alumni Association and sits on the board of Entropy Bio, an early-stage venture company.
